Informational guide · Questions to try

Choose keepers and plan for your team’s next season

Ask ChatGPT or Claude to weigh long-term value against your actual roster and league rules. Include what each player costs to keep, your goals for the team and any draft picks involved.

Use the questions below as prompts to try with your own league.

Start with your league’s rules and scoring

Share your keeper convention: the cost, number of keepers and how long a player can be retained. Flaim never computes your house-rule cost. ESPN may report a keeper value; Yahoo and Sleeper do not, and even a reported value needs to match your league’s actual rule.

Choose keepers and plan your dynasty roster

Compare long-term value with what it costs to keep each player, then consider whether your roster is trying to win now or build for later. Include keeper consequences and confirmed picks in a trade’s price. A high-scoring player is not automatically the best keeper when the cost consumes more of next season’s draft or budget.

Questions to try

  • “Using my actual keeper costs, which players give me the best value next season?”
  • “Does my roster make more sense as a contender or a team building for next year?”
  • “Would this trade improve my long-term roster after accounting for keepers and confirmed picks?”

Use current dynasty or keeper rankings and player news when your AI app can search the web. Supply any house rules that your platform does not report.

Questions

Does Flaim calculate my keeper cost?

No. Keeper cost is your league’s house rule. ESPN may report a keeper value; Yahoo and Sleeper do not. Even a reported value may differ from what your league charges, so share the actual convention when cost drives the decision.

Can it compare winning now with building for later?

Yes. The AI can apply your scoring, roster, standings and keeper rules to that choice, using current dynasty expert views when it can research the web. The recommendation should explain the tradeoff and any assumptions about costs or player outlook.

Can I include draft picks in a keeper or dynasty trade?

On Sleeper, Flaim can supply who currently owns each pick. ESPN and Yahoo report past draft results but not current pick ownership, so share any traded picks yourself. A past selection and a currently owned future pick are different facts. Exact future slots should remain unconfirmed when your platform cannot confirm them. Draft preparation and pick ownership

Can Flaim keep a player or submit the trade for me?

No. Flaim provides read-only analysis. You make keeper selections, roster changes and trades in your fantasy platform.
